  • Ensure families get access to early screenings for neurodevelopmental conditions and access to specialists who can promptly evaluate the root causes of a student's weaknesses.

Community and Communication:

  • Encourage parents to get involved in their kids’ education by maintaining parents' awareness of their child’s performance, attendance and needs.

  • Use advisory committees to offer transparent communication to parents and provide proper resolution to their issues. â€‹

  • Parental rights:  Parents are the primary decision-makers in their child’s upbringing and education. She will ensure transparency in curriculum and policies so families always know what is being taught.

Culture:

  • Create a culture of respect, acceptance and kindness among students, staff and community members including older adults.

  • Assign group projects and activities that require students to work together towards a common goal.
